Introduction	Drug abuse in the American workplace and our schools is worse than ever. The abuse of prescription drugs is a primary concern, are rapidly becoming a problem worldwide. This site is supported to allow an exchange of information and innovative concepts that may assist in reversing this dangerous trend. As Vice President at Avitar I am involved in the successful deployment of enterprise-wide safety and business solutions across multiple sectors; education, manufacturing, retail, hospitality, construction, and business services. My key responsibility is to help organizations realize the importance of a drug free workplace and the need for random oral fluid-based drug screening as a request component of any program. I ‘m a noted speaker and author in the field of drug free workplace solutions. My articles have appeared in peer reviewed professional publications and I regularly speak to multiple audiences including The American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), The Drug and Alcohol Testing Industry Association (DATIA), The National Safety Council (NSC), The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and The Comminty Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA).
