Introduction	After living and studying in Buddhist temples, Hindu ashrams, and Christian communities of every denomination, I recognize striking similarities among all faiths. But there is a belief system known to the Germanic and Anglo-Saxon peoples of Northern Europe and the Americas that pervades throughout every walk of life. It is Pagan, it is Heathen, and it is clearly rooted in Northern Mythology. Today, it is labeled as 'Christianity'; but it is not AT ALL what they taught us in Sunday school.
Interests	Giants? Gods having sex with humans? Snakes that talk? And that's all just in the book of Genesis! Read further and we find magic, sorcery, angels, demons, and god-like beings all interacting with mankind here on Earth. There are men rising from the dead and ascending into heaven; and there are men who can see the future and visit the very depths of Hell. Is it Judaism? Is it Christianity? The answer is a definitive "Not always!" It is Northern Mythology and it is the root of everything many of us instinctively know and believe.
