| Introduction | Crocheting is my thing! It allows my mind to find a quiet place when all around seems to be anything but. My grandmother taught me to crochet when I was 13 - doilies. After doilies, yarn crochet was EASY. For many years I set it down and didn’t crochet at all, but I picked it up again when the war started – I guess because it was such a huge demonstration that too much about my world was totally outside of my control. I don’t think I’ll be putting it down again….ever. I love innovative colorways and mixing textures. If I could afford the yarns I want I’d have a house full to work with. Fortunately, for my family, that’s not happened (nor is it likely to). |
