| Introduction | I am the mother of 5 including 2 step sons Jason and Dean. Parker, Corinne and Kelsey are Julie's children from a previous marriage and I just became a grandmother to Ian born 11-24-12! When the kids were little I didn't experiment much with cooking, because I just assumed the kids didn't want to eat weird food. BIG MISTAKE! Word of advice: start your kids out eating whatever you eat. Additionally, because I worked full time, I tried to make the meals quick to get on with homework, baths, etc. The worst question my kids used to ask is "What's for dinner?" If I told them the truth, they would start with the whining serenade... "Ewww, I don't like that", or "Gross, I can't eat that". Freakin kids! Since the kids have gotten older, and stopped whining, cooking has become an enjoyable hobby. I am so thankful Corinne is a great cook and hopefully she'll pass this onto her children as well, without getting pissed off from their whining! |
