Introduction	I am a Distance Education Director, Chief Learning Officer, former Senior Instructional Designer, and former Curriculum and Course Development Manager. I have additional education/management experience in the following areas: K-12 and Higher Education, private, non-profit, and Federal sectors. I specialize in online/e-Learning methodologies, non-traditional students, and learning satisfaction and performance improvement. I have an earned Doctorate of Education in Instructional Technology and Distance Education. This blog was originally created to help me achieve my 2008 New Years Resolution: self development. Self development is surely an ongoing process, so I thought this was a great vehicle. However, as I wrote each article or discovered new information for myself, I found that often I would use the information at work or forward specific posts to friends and colleagues in the Learning industry.
