| Introduction | I created Free Hand Studios in 1989 as a company that could handle a variety of art assignments, originally starting from graphic arts. That evolved into Interior Design and the variety of Wall Arts, which encompassed Traditional Faux Finishing, Panoramic and Canvas murals. Eventually, through this wide variety of disciplines my signature Sculpted Wall Treatments emerged as my personal refinement on textured wall art. I have panoramic murals all over the world such as a ten panel piece representing Indiana Dunes State Park, and worked for General Mills doing the Olive Garden Restaurant murals. I have done Sculpted Wall Treatments in Colorado, New York, and Florida, and placed Canvas Murals throughout the world in fine homes there. The range of my skills is wide and lends itself well to interpreting the exact feeling a client wishes to experience and my record of having worked in collaboration with interior designers and architects to achieve the final design goals is long and fruitful. I hope you enjoy and are inspired by what you see and share the pleasure I take in creating these unique projects. |
| Interests | I have been producing fine art works and murals for interior designers from Jacksonville Florida and the International art world for over thirty years. I work in watercolors, acrylics, mixed media and oils. My "Plein Aire" watercolors were exhibited in France and Jacksonville, in a show called "French Light Florida Light". I still do plein aire watercolor adventures to foreign locales to explore the differences and poetry of other lifestyles and environments. My highly textured sculpted wall designs have been featured in Designer Show Houses and homes throughout Florida and my canvas wall murals are in homes throughout the world. I want to share all fine art and big wall work as it is produced, and bring that to bear on its relationship to the art of Living. |
