| Favorite books | The Bible and nonfiction books written from a God-centered, Christ-exalting perspective. Also, old classics like those written by Charles Dickens, Jane Austin, and L.M. Montgomery, fantasy works by J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, and George McDonald, modern works like those written by Jan Karon, Alexander McCall Smith, Frank Peretti, and Randy Alcorn, and mysteries by Dorothy Sayers. |
