| Introduction | kc got her first taste of the byline rather late in the game, at the ripe old age of 22. Ignoring the lures of the corporate world,she left a "good" job that was (literally) making her ill for the colorful world of publishing. She has been happy and healthy ever since. With experiences in writing, editing, photography, layout design, sales and account management, and circulation, she has seen the nooks and crannies of publishing. Marketing and PR is her line of work du jour and she wants nothing more than to put her titles in the map. She likens the business side of publishing to an exciting, albeit jelous and demanding boyfriend. Writing is her ardent and enduring lover. |
You have to dig a hole to China. Where do you start?
Why China? In any case that whole digging to China thing is a Western concept. People in our hemisphere will end up somewhere else if we dig long enough. Canada, perhaps.
