| Introduction | My name is Windy and I am a 29 year old daughter of God, Mom, Wife, and Teacher, who is also a Type 1 diabetic. I was diagnosed at age 7 and have been learning, and conquering it ever since! I'm no where near a perfect patient, but I am committed to not letting it control what I accomplish in this life. I manage my diabetes with my Animas 2020 insulin pump and a Dexcom 7 CGMS. I LOVE them both and LOVE sharing diabetes information with absolutely anyone who will listen!
