| Introduction | Lilith Ohannessian is a Canadian artist of Armenian descent. She has a degree in Fine Arts from Concordia University and has been painting and drawing for over 20 years. She has adopted a Zen way of working. Her ink paintings are in sumi-e style, which is based on Japanese and Chinese calligraphy. Her graphite pencil drawings are minimalist in nature. Both her paintings and drawings bring out the essence and energy of their subject matter. She lives and teaches in Ottawa, Canada. |
