Bush Bunny to Ballymaloe

Introduction	I'm 34 years old and have been living and working in the bush for the past 8 years, in South Africa and more recently for the last 5 years in the Serengeti, Tanzania. I've always wanted to be able to cook 'properly' and so this seemed the ideal opportunity - why Ireland and Ballymaloe, well I've an Irish passport but regret to say that until now had never visited and I have a friend who did the course a few years ago and loved it so I packed up the few winter clothes I could find, swapped khaki shorts for chef whites and flip flops for clogs and winter boots and here I am, trying to become a chef.............
