Introduction	I'm in graduate school in the great wilderness that is Long Island, NY and this is a good way (hopefully) to let people nearest and dearest to me read about my slow decline into PhD-driven insanity. Or you know, just see what's going on in my life...that too.
Interests	The lovely and talented R, science, doing well in grad school, planning my next moves, cooking, music, doodling, road trips, traveling, exercising, (that's here to motivate me to start again).
Favorite movies	I have spotty instincts when it comes to movies and my preferences are all over the place. My attention span has slipped these days, so if I don't like a movie, I stop paying attention. Movies that I have paid attention to recently have the included, The Orphanage, Juno, and, Salvador. They're nothing like each other.
Favorite music	I'll listen to almost anything at least once.
Favorite books	The Three Musketeers, Advanced Genetic Analysis, Scientific Progress Goes Boink, Perl Cookbook, The Post-American World, Another Day of Life, The Shah of Shahs, The Soccer War
