| Introduction | My blessings are many, my troubles are few, my interests are varied. I fill my awake hours surrounded by the people I love, the hobbies I enjoy and the reading I choose. I'd rather have the TV off, good coffee in my mug, a stack of books, a scrap project on the table or the heady, earthy smell of fresh dirt filling my senses. The black dirt smudges under my nails? That's a bonus. My favorite books? . . . I love Earlene Fowler mysteries, The Cat Who . . by Lilian Jackson Braun and Erle Stanley Gardner's Perry Mason series. I prefer light mysteries that focus primarily on the "thinking" aspect and less on the blood, gore and guts. When I'm not reading, browsing Pinterest, trying new recipes or spending time with a chosen "few" (always go for quality over quantity), I enjoy paper arts including altered arts projects, ATCs, scrapping and stamping. |
| Interests | Altered Arts, Airedales, Rubberstamping, Scrapbooking, ATCs, Reading, Heritage projects |
| Favorite movies | It's a Wonderful Life, Sliding Doors, Rear Window, 9 - 5, The Santa Clause, and almost anything in B&W so pass the popcorn (easy on the salt, just a tad more butter) it just doesn't get any better. |
| Favorite music | Eclectic blend of country, blues, 50s rock 'n roll |
| Favorite books | A Tree Grows in Brooklyn . . . all time favorite. Then the light mysteries . . . Erle Stanley Gardner, Chet and Bernie series, Earlene Fowler quilt mystery series, Lilian Jackson Braun |
