| Introduction | We met as students in 2001 when Rhoda was studying Education at Cambridge University and Daniel Business at Bristol. We were married in July 2004, and have since travelled, lived and worked in inner-city London, the rural jungles of Belize,in the mountains of Ecuador, South America and the country of Trinidad in the Caribbean. We are currently back in the United Kingdom and as always seeking to be a blessing in particular to local children and youths in schools and churches as well as a ministry to adults that we come into contact with. We love the Lord our God with all our hearts and we are pleased to inform you that you are not just an accident not just evolutionary stardust, that you were created and have a purpose for your life and existence. John 3:16 in the bible says that ""For God so loved the world he sent his one and only son Jesus so whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life."" We love different cultures and people!Daniel was brought up as a child in Africa and has a German mum,his sister lives in N.Zealand. Rhoda's family are Irish! We are delighted to have moved from a couple to a family on 24th June 2009 when our Son Elijah was born :) |
| Interests | Swimming and keeping fit,outdoor activities, hillwalking, watching movies, travelling, learning about different cultures, attending church and looking for ways to bless and enrich people´s lives, we like to work helping the homeless and loners of society by sharing the good news gospel with them and helping in small ways with their practical needs. A favourite thing of ours is to cook meals for people, share stories of our service for the Lord, and to encourage and pray for people. |
| Favorite movies | We dont ever really watch TV, prefering to be involved in blessing people and helping change peoples lives, if get chance to watch a dvd movie then an action adventure such as lord of the rings is great |
| Favorite music | We used to listen to "normal" secular music, but now only listen to christian music. We have found that there are all types of Christian music to suit all people, that there is christian worship, hip-hop, instrumental, dance, rock and all sorts with uplifting lyrics that bless our minds and spirits,we love hillsongs and vineyard music. We dont judge others who listen to non christian music, its just a conviction God gave us to listen to stuff that is always positive, so much on the radio today and elsewhere has bad messages |
| Favorite books | The BIBLE as it gives us direction and guidance for our lives and is the rule book for the universe. We love real-life stories of missionaries such as the book Gods Smuggler by BROTHER ANDREW - how he smuggled bibles through into communist eastern Europe. Also really like books by NICKY CRUZ. His original titled book called Run Baby Run tells of how he changed from being a Godless crazy street dude gangster in New York with no hope just mugging people, and then shares how his life was transformed by meeting Jesus Christ. He has written more excellent books since including the title One Holy Fire and Soul Obsession and his books are really easy to read. Another excellent book is called The Vision by the author RICK JOYNER Also like the book on spiritual warfare called The Invisible War by CHIP INGRAM |
When you spilled the milk, did it look like the moon?
Does a car just appear or is it made in the factory? Does a tree just appear or is it made from an acorn? Does a sheet of paper just appear or was it made by the tree? In the same way we can be sure that the most beautiful of all things planet earth and the stars and planets with perfect ecosystems did not just "appear" out of thin air or blackness, for they too were created with intelligence.
