Introduction | I wish I lived in the days when horses and carriages were the mode of transport; I wish men could still wear powdered wigs and whaleboned coats; I wish ladies could still wear hoopskirts. I wish exciting things could happen to me, I wish I might have a stirring, made-to-order, just-like-the-movies romance. But I love electricity, and my life would be impossible without the Internet. And I am probably far too scared to endure exciting things (probably a few have actually happened to me, but I was so busy wishing they would go away I missed them). And, just at present, there is no way romance is in the air for me. That's why I write fiction. That's why I tend to write romance fiction. That's why I simply adore writing historical romance fiction. |
