IntroductionRuss Rutler accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior during the “Jesus Movement of the 1970s As a graduate of Evangel Col. he served with Teen Challenge Ministries in Saginaw, MI, started a children and puppet ministry in N.J and N.Y, as well helped run a Christian Coffee house.For the past two decades, along with his late wife Yvonne they’ve help establish youth, drama, children & prison ministries in local churches in Va, N.Y. & FL. They served a year with“Youth With A Mission” in Hawaii and the “Center for Urban Missions” in NYC. Other mission projects have included working with “Faith Island Missions” in the Philippines and short term trips to Guaymas, Mexico, Tanzania and Belize. Russ’ “life verse” is found in Proverbs 4:18;“But the path of the just is as the shining light,that shines more and more unto the perfect day.”His favorite quote is from the writings of Oswald Chambers“God always saves the best til last…The best is Yet”
