| Introduction | Dr. Marilyn J. Narey is a scholar, researcher, and teacher/teacher educator specializing in multimodal literacy, creativity, and transdisciplinary curriculum. As founder of Narey Educational Consulting, LLC, she currently leads professional development, curricular design services, and research initiatives for diverse educational institutions and community groups. Dr. Narey’s background as a tenured Associate Professor of Education at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania; as teacher with 20 years of experience in K-12 public schools; as founder of Artventures (a community-based Early Childhood program); and as a recipient of numerous awards for her design of innovative curricular, community-based projects and partnerships, serves to inform her ongoing engagement in a variety of educational initiatives. |
