Are there public copies of full resolution 386 die shots? or even the 286? as in suitable for reverse engineering, of the sort you're doing? I guess http://visual6502.org/images/pages/Intel_80286_die_shots.html this counts, and I do recall seeing some for some older processors, but never the 386 or newer, however I do recall at least one person besides you trying to reverse engineer it, with a focus on studying its microcode. Do keep up the good work, it's quite fascinating!
