Correction offered. The random logic blocks were laid out by DAPR ( Dense Automatic Place and Route ). Timberwolf was used for placement and was integrated into DAPR. The lead developer of the router was Manfred Wiesel. Other team members were Marc Rose, Desmond Kirkpatrick and Nancy Nettleton. See reference here: https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/20843
