I think there may be a typo in your description of the SAR instruction. You said, ". It can be implemented by putting all zeroes or all ones on the right, depending on the sign bit." I think the word "right" should be "left", since the sign bit fill occurs on the left side of the word, from bit 31.

GREAT reverse-engineering and write-up, though.
