Larry Stewart in Cambridge, MA, also has a bunch of Alto disk images - I wonder if you can a) make a tool that takes an image and an Alto disk and writes the image _to_ the Alto disk - I wouldn't do that to anything but say an already randomized disk. b) make a tool that virtualizes an Alto disk - take an image, put it in a memory (maybe a flash memory)?, and feed it to / from the Alto disk controller ...
