I translated this program from IBM 1401 to print the Indian national anthem on our line printer on an IBM 1130 in Birla Institute of Science and Technology in Pilani, Rajasthan, approximately 1979. The program was popular with the computer operators and was often run as a demo. Eventually the printer chain broke.
