Ken, is the BCD parity bit used in the conversion to qui-binary? I don't see it as an input. My real question is are there are particular errors they are worried about, i.e. something especially tricky about the addition circuitry? Or just errors in general because this whole computer is a mass of wires and cards? If an error occurs in the addition are there circuits to help you debug the problem?

Good stuff as always. I never knew the origin of "mainframe", now I do.
