If you live in Texas, the Don T. Hutto detention facility is probably where those on the list will be sent. It's an ICE / Homeland Security facitilty, a former prison overhauled by Halliburton. Conveniently, it has train tracks running up to its front door.

ICE has put out a bid to build more of these facilities.

According to the LA Times story: "New facilities are being considered on both coasts and on the Southwestern border. The agency calls for minimum-security residential facilities that would provide a "least restrictive, nonsecure setting" and provide schooling for children, recreational activities and access to religious services.

But later in the proposal add that .., but says the contractor should structure programs "designed to prevent escapes" and should provide a plan that "monitors resident movement and physically counts residents."

The article doesn't mention it, but Halliburton is bidding on the future prison/family-detention-center work. For immigrants only, of course. And ignore the train tracks.
