My U.S. congressman is running for governor here in Florida, if he is elected that's good for Florida, but might leave me with a dilemma: Who to elect to replace him.
Both my State Senator as well as my Representative voted for the so-called school safety bill in FL. Both are "R's" supposedly! While the bill passed has some merit raising the age to 21 to buy a long gun as well as a three day wait period frosts my butt. It doesn't affect me I'm way passed 21 and have a CWL. Marion Hammer called this a betrayal to gun owners by the FL Republicans, who because of one vote the bill passed out of committee.
Oh and our Governor also a Republican signed it, and he's running for the U.S. Senate, against Liberal antigun Bill Nelson. He would be an improvement, but how much of one is hard to calculate.
