I think I have seen him. I can't remember if it was at Hartford City Hall, the Hartford Fire Department, or the Hartford School System. Either way, he was hired because he was a city resident. The City loves to hire resident felons.

Brookman has good connections, and people trust him. You can speak to him and know he won't go blabbing to others. Also, he verifies before posting. Good work Kevin!

In response to Anonymous 7:46 PM posting.
As long as you have a city residency requirement for employment, "Fire Department", you are limiting the quality of the potential individuals for the job. By continuing this practice you will be constantly limiting yourself to felons, drug addicts, and unfit / unqualified individuals who's only qualifications are that they are Hartford residents. By the way, the Department receives federal funding and therefore it is illegal to have a residency requirement. No one has challenged this with a lawyer and this is why the practice continues. We at the Fire Department have a saying, that department is a welfare to work program. Thats why the department is on the decline and is destined to failure.

Not to mention the fire department receives federal funding for it's budget and equipment. To receive such funding it is illegal to only allow city residents to apply. Im surprised no one has brought to the attention of the media yet.
