I was number three in my district when I voted late in the afternoon.
Beats me why the government,muni or State, has to be involved in internal corporate affairs. The Republican elections are particularly silly since there are so few of us, but the same principle obtains with, for example, the election of the Dem Town Committee. Let the parties do make their internal arrangements themselves.

If CT is not going to be part of the March presidential primaries (or at the latest the 1st Tuesday in April), then we should be a caucus state and save the taxpayers money.
