I couldn't agree more with organizing a permanent group to demonstrate and confront those that wish to squander our money and reward their cronies with no bid contracts or some other largess. Now is the time to confront the Mayor about his un-needed driver and a staff larger then Governor Rell's.In addition, now is the time to question why Hartford is funding so many "non-profits" headed by political cronies of one politician or another.Count me in as a member.

Ah, a protest ... I am sure Eddie, who won't be running for re-election anyway ... is shaking in his shoes. So are the councilmen and women, who are elected based on who the ward bosses tell their districts to vote for. (Were that not the case, do you seriously believe Kelvan Roldan would be sitting in a state office?) No one on this council is worried about being voted out, and Eddie will be carted away in cuffs, so whose attention will your protest be targeting?

THESE are the times that try men's souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value.
