I can't help feeling that the events of July would perhaps resonate particularly deeply with the dubstep crowd. As Martin's said before, a large factor is the association with surroundings and social background, the music a reaction to London as an environment and as a home.
I too feel that London's a sad city, and its got sadder this year - maybe its feeling vulnerable, maybe its knowing what happened was inevitable.

Anyway. Happy Christmas.

agreed on the serious stuff.

on a couldn't-be-more-trivial note, just wanna say how pleased i am to see Speedball getting referenced. this follows Bubble Bobble getting dissed by JME on that incredible Wiley track on Logan's Rinsessions mix. Bubble Bobble was wicked, not 'stupid', but it's still nice to hear it getting mentioned.

i think most of the overseas crew is with me when i say everyone is looking forward to this album. It would have been the perfect soundtrack for this city under snow winter, but i'm sure it will be just as good next year...

gotta say, after nine o-e o-e in new york, the headphones stayed off for a few weeks. i forget how long it took for everything to get back to "normal"

It's 2012 and still, this statement is timeless and I love to read this, I think, I came back to this interview once a year!

Burial and Blackdown, you are Legends for me! Thanks a lot
