According to me, regarding the scopes of each Disney theme park around the world, those licensed additions won't make it at traditional "Magic Kingdoms".

With the existing and coming projects, any Marvel in general (or Avengers in particular) may be arriving at the WDS Paris, future Paris 3rd gate and Hollywood Studios, FL.

After little thinking, some may be located at Tomorrowland and Discoveryland under specific circumstances.... Time will tell.

Would be great for WDS. The park could improve so much te coming years if all rumours are true: at least we'll get Ratatouille, but there's a rumour going for Toystory Midway Mania, and this Marvel-based area in Backlot. All thes additions could make WDS finally a worthwile allday visit. Hope that, besides focussing on new rides, a nice atmosphere will be focussed on as well. Currently, the rides are nice, but when walking around through te park, there's not much of a Disney-feeling going on.

If they absolutely have to have a Marvel ride, they should put it in the Florida studios (which is already a bit of a hodgepodge) - but please, please no such attraction or characters in one of the other parks - please...

"there's not much of a Disney-feeling going on" - I absolutely agree; but I don´t see how an attraction based on Marvel characters could possibly add some Disney feeling

Please, let them not replace the Tron coaster with this?!

I think an Avengers attraction would be great! Indiana Jones and Star Wars are in the parks, why can't there be a Marvel attraction.

We have in mind a cardboard-themed exterior from Universal, but I'm sure WDI can make something great from this.

Stiil I hope they will build this in the Studios, in Florida AND in Paris!!!

@ Anonymous - I think you have a point someway, however I think that the Disney-feeling is in the fact that you feel like you are in the environment that the ride is about. Star Tours, Aerosmith and Indiana Jones rides could provide the Disney-feeling as well, so why would an Avengers themed ride not?
I doubted about it first as well, but when you see the movie, you'll probably feel, just like me, that you wish there will be a ride or even an entire area themed around this Avengers-theme :)!

I hope they put the attraction in the Backlot-area of WDS, maybe as a replacement for the dull Armageddon.

And at the same time DLP should give the Backlot a huge makeover (like hiding the huge RnRcoaster-building with a New York street-set). Then the totally unthemed industrial look of the Backlot would finally be gone, and WDS would be a much nicer park to spend your day at.

According the contract Universal Studios has with Marvel, Disney will not be allowed to have ANY Marvel based attractions in the Florida parks... Their other properties is fine, but USO has r exclusive theme park rights to Marvel within 25o miles of Orlando.

There was talk of a Stark Expo being developed. I think this will fit in with Tomorrowland quite well, but how it actually works (4D cinema, ride or whatever) I have no idea at all.

Iron Man will definitely be very, very popular at HKDL.

That's excellent news! Both the sequels and the rides. I hope that they will make a Marvel civil war movie in the future; that would be epic!

About the parks, I think that Marvel attractions would be more appropriate in DSP, DHS, CA and EPCOT. I read about the idea and I would love to see future world transformed in Stark Expo! The outdated futuristic theme is already very tired and Disney have Tomorrowland for that anyway. The retro future theme of Stark Expo would be MUCH nicer.

But I think that Disney can't really have Marvel in the Florida parks; that's what I found on the internet about that: http://articles.orlandosentinel.com/2009-09-02/news/0909010106_1_marvel-entertainment-walt-disney-marvel-attractions

The carousel theatre would be the best place to have a Marvel attraction in Disneyland, and I certainly wouldn't miss Innovations, but I would rather see it in CA, it would be the final touch to make it a perfect park.

I don't quite find a marvel based attraction appropriate with in any of the "disneylands" rather most likely a attraction will be constructed within one of the secondary parks like Disney studio, epcot, Hollywood studio etc. Only other rumor I've seen beyond an avengers ride is stark industries take over in innovations which still felt way off track to the "feel" of Disneyland. Regardless what happens Disney have to step their game up if they want to challenge universal's marvel superhero island. They did it first. They did it right. And ever since potter disney's latest attractions seem mediocre in comparison. Imao of course.

Universal did the Spider Man ride first and right, that I agree, but what Universal did not do right was the Theme of the land.

In attractions Universal is probably one step ahead of Disney, but regarding landscaping, theming, e.g. Disney is much ahead of Universal.

Any Disney park, excluding perhaps DSP is much nicer to walk around than a Universal park, so if Disney do a Marvel themed land they can do it much better than Universal overall.

That said, I think that to replace Innovations by Stark Industries would not be terrible, but I would rather see a Wall-E attraction there and have a Marvel land where currently Bug's land is on CA.

Another thing, when I wrote about retro future, I was thinking about the "original" Stark Expo, the one from Howard Stark, but any Stark Expo would be better than EPCOT'S Future World, if Disney could do it...

Don't read too much into the Universal/Marvel Florida contract. That's all I'm saying.

I agree that Walt Disney Studios Park needs a lot of help and it's probably the best park to have the ride. However, it should not replace Armageddon or in any other existing area as it does not have enough space. Instead, on google maps you can see a parking lot and a forest named Bois des Livrains behind the Studio Tram that can be used for expansion. Disney should use that piece of land to build another themed area of the park called Marvel Studios. It should look like a backlot set of New York along with a replica of Stark Expo. It should be home to that ride and I believe Disney can also build a 3d show themed to The Amazing Spider-Man. They should also include a Shawarma restaurant mentioned by Stark (Iron Man) at the end of the movie. I hope a Disney Imagineer had seen my advice and take it at heart.
