This looks awsome. It would have been torrific if it has been a complete ride, including more scenes and a real pre-show. That's quite funny to learn in the "making of" that animators had to watch monkeys to do their work, cause they could have just call andy serkis back to do the king kong part, since he already did research himself for the movie.

I just experienced King Kong 360 3D and it was TOTALLY AMAZING! I had read on one of the message boards it was a let down and the movie looked like a cheap video game, I don't know if they even saw this attraction because that was not the case at all. The film was amazingly realistic and worked perfectly with the effects on the tram(s). People were screaming and laughing during the whole experience and some of the kids on the tram were terrified, but loved it. This made me think of how the Imagineers could have brought America The Beautiful up to date if they had truly put on their thinking caps and immersed us into the experience. King Kong 360 3-D does this perfectly.
