This is looking like the last Pres election. It will either be Rand Paul winning or losing it himself, much like Obama. McCain had no chance to win, it was Obama's to win or lose.

@Waffles:

O HAI! Too much business trippin', not enuff blogwarrin'. I have a little time to play today, though.

And Satan's gonna need mittens, 'cos I think you're right. Well, I think both you and Z are right.

Z's right, in that Conway cannot win unless he provides a clear, compelling alternative to Paul's, um... vision.

You're right, in that if Paul and his campaign get their ish together soon and stop the bleeding, I'm skeptical that Conway can get the 10+ points he needs (I know Conway's polling is better than that, but I think Dem turnout is gonna stink, and that Paul's position is stronger than the polls suggest).

Yea in a state that red it's Pauls to win or lose. The best thing his campaign manager can do for him is script him. Every time he opens his mouth it's a clip for youtube. He's worse than Biden, and at least when Biden does it you get a good laugh.

LOL, right? When Crazy Uncle Joe blorps out a fresh, steamy gaffe, 80-90% of the time, I'm laughing my ass off.

And I think Paul (and/or his campaign) is getting his arms around that. Conway's running on Paul oldies-and-goldies, but I haven't had a fresh Paul soundbyte pop up on my radar in a minute. Bad news for Conway... I'm sure he was hoping for the non-stop parade of attack-ad gifts Harry Reid's been getting.

I finally had to cave in and pick NV-Sen: Reid in my election pool. I know it's a longshot, but unlike Paul, it really is looking like Angle is determined to ignore her GOP operatives, come hell or high crazy.

ROFL, appears I did. And a Fox News article, no less. Ouch. Conway must be tap dancing.
