I can't believe you only have one kid in your class (saw that on Elaine's blog). Actually, yes I can. We would have the same problem except we've only got 3 teachers...hence the groups get lumped differently. We've got PK-K, 1st-5th and 6th-8th. Works for us.
I hate to say this (don't want to make you feel bad), but we have 5 new kids this year. A blessing for us. I know at least 3 of them will be regular (mother is very committed). Nobody wants to go to church anymore. Seems they would rather be "doers" instead of "hearers", which isn't a bad thing. But they forget they need the education of hearing too. And so do their children.
4th grade, huh? That means you'll have all your old students. But a whole different teaching level. Pray! :) Next year you'll probably have 20.

The objective of the game is to be the first to find Jesus in the temple. The players roll the dice and follow the directions on the space they land on. If the player lands on a space that is already occupied by another, BUMP that player back to the START space. If you land on a space with dice on it, roll again. The first player who lands on the temple wins.
Jesus in the Temple Game- Print out Directions, cut it out, and glue on the front of a file folder. Print out Game Board, trim, and glue on the inside of the file folder. Make sure the directions are on the front of the file folder. Laminate or cover with clear contact paper to make it last.

My ONE student did not come on Sunday. I might be moved to 4th grade if he doesn't come back. Hubby only had 1 student on Sunday (he started with 2).
