Hi! I'm an avid follower of your blog but I don't comment very often. My husband is the CRE in our Parish and I teach 8th grade. I am so excited about this series of lessons. It will be great to use with my 8th graders since they really need to be participating fully in the Mass now! Thanks for all of your hard work! Our catechists love your website!

The Fischer Family-
Thank you for your kinds words. It means a lot to me that people enjoy my blog. :)

I hope your students will like the lessons that I will post. At first I wasn't too happy about the new missal, but after doing the lessons it really isn't so bad and I'm adjusting. LOL!

To all-
I will try my best to do lessons that the students will understand what they are to do in Mass and they will enjoy them as well. I needed something for my students and I thought I would share what we will be doing. :)

Thank you very much for your blog! I was baptized Catholic, but that was it. I went through the RICA program in order for my hubby & I to receive the Sacrament of Marriage. Fast forward to now and we have four children and I volunteered to teach 1st grade CCD! To say that I feel lost and unqualified at times to teach the faith is an understatement!! I have gotten a LOT of ideas and helps from your blog for my class and for my home. Thank you VERY much in helping me to grow in the faith along with my kids.

June-
Thank you so much for your kind words. I also feel inadequate and totally unqualified to teach CCD as well. I have been teaching 1st grade CCD for 13 years now and I still feel overwhelmed at times and incompetent. I am constantly learning new things and I hope my students are learning about the Catholic Church to their fullest potential.

I have just been posting activities on my blog that I found interesting and thought others might need, but I know there is something else that I’m missing that you could use. I might be able to find what you need or even make it. Just leave a comment and I will try my best. :)
