Hi, SoB, and congratulations on your purchase. I am sure you and your laptop will live happily ever after. One suggestion … I wasn't satisfied with the Apple mouse either, so I bought a Macally iceMouse Jr. I am soooo happy with it. Two buttons that make super quiet clicks, and it feels so springy (is that a real word?), and it's small enough to fit perfectly in my palm. They sell a bigger iceMouse too. Hope you let us know how your Mac experience is coming along. And Merry Christmas.

Hi!
First of all, thanx for visiting G-D!
I'm currently typing away at on the mac. To be honest ever since I got it I've been using it for all routine computer stuff (mail/web/mp3s/pics etc) and the PC is left for the downloading and more importantly, playing games!
It's a great system, I'm still learning all about OS X and the general mac feel.
I'll sure give that mouse you recommend a try, thanks! Just one question, what's the use of the 2nd mouse button?
Merry X-mas to you and all, unfortunately due to my job I'm doing 7 night shifts starting tomorrow (9pm to 9am), ie x-mas eve to new year's eve :(

1/ congratulations on your purchase....very posh indeed! I learned to use Mac 3 years ago for work (this should be a hint)....many good things but I'm still a windows "whore" as you descibed it best......the laptop is very very tempting - drooling here - (and expensive) although I prefer the smaller versions because of easier mobility....you need to make a sacrifice for it before it breaks (from all the envy!)....

2/ stop whinning about work, how do you think you'll buy these things without your job! one of the good things about being a doctor is MONEY (something to put in your pros list)....
