That is so cute, looks like our creek, when it rains much we have a good running creek, when it does not it is dry, he was able to float that boat a good ways, hugs and have a very blessed weekend.
Who needs TV! Life on the farm has too much to offer! He is so cute! I love kids, but I especially love 'em when they are in that early learning 'sponge' stage!
The simple pleasures of natures toys. Brings back memories of how my son would play for hours with sticks and rocks building roads, dams and just having fun in the great outdoors! I think farm kids have it best of all! =)
Oh! That looks like fun! I would love to play in the water again. My kids would, too, I'm sure!
If it ever rains here again we are going to stand outside in it and play!

[Image]One of the wonderful things about the rain is flowing water and no shortage of sticks or bark to float. Zander is learning how a big piece of bark can be a boat and float down stream.
[Image]You can follow that boat,[Image]remove it from the stream,[Image]and begin all over again!

Nothing more fun than a little one floating a stick in the water...except maybe watching them do it:)

Somehow I'm reminded of Winnie the Pooh. What a great age Zander is right now.

Forget expensive toys - just give him a piece of wood! Isn't that always the way - the kid will play with the BOX instead of the toy that came in it!

That sounds like an awful lot of fun for a little boy to do. Sometimes I wish I was a little kid again, but then on your farm.
