Always enjoy your photos and poetic words so much!

We lost all of our squash--one day everything was growing like crazy and the next, it was gone. Just like that. Everything else is coming along great!

Seeing those beans and potatoes makes me want them! We have beans in the garden but I'm off to get some potatoes! Or, maybe I'll just head to your place! LOL

Those potatoes sure look good. I think they are my favorite ones. They're good to make a salad with. Mmm...

Hmm. For some reason, I have a sudden and overwhelming craving for stuffed cabbage.

And those berries? I think I'd puree and turn them into a simple syrup to sweeten tea and cocktails (both virgin and not). Yum.

Thank your sisters for the feast for the eyes.

We scaled back this year with only potatoes, tomatoes and peppers. Your garden harvest looks good to me. :)

Oh! This is so inspiring! And seeing your sister toiling in the garden is oddly beautiful and classic. The hard work is truly worth it.

My garden got a late start due to our winds, drought and late freeze, but I already have radishes, romaine, spinach, and carrots sprouted. The radishes are the most robust, and I still have to water 2-3 times a day, but we are all excited about eating some of our own farm-grown produce.

Sadly, there are no peaches or apples on our tree. The winds and drought were too much for them.
