OMG right before I clicked into my dashboard to check the blogs I just said to my husband that my feet are soooo hot. I swear that is exactly what I said.
He knows better than to mention my weight.

Doesn't matter if you're fat or skinny...high cholesterol is the big No-no nowadays. I had the lecture from my dr and ended up changing my eating habits and taking meds. The numbers are down now, and I guess that's good!

For you feet, did you try feet cream with menthol and camphor inside ? In France we have a very nice one : http://www.beaute-test.com/soin_hydra_-_relaxant_dermophil.php, but I have no idea if there is something similar in your country...

Concerning the weight... I suggest you to live and let die... This doctor seems to be a big as... Ahem... Kinf of a stupid specimen of human, indeed.

I'm laughing at both your post and some of the comments. So did he even address your feet?

I just hate it when you ask someone a question and the answer they give relates in no way to the question.

yeah. been there. but with this godforsaken heat it's no wonder your feet are hot. and with this heat, you can also be carrying extra fluids in your system - around the ankles, especially. hydrate it out. drink lots and lots of water and flush out the excess sodium in your body and see if that helps a bit.

That is hard to hear. You knew it was true anyway. My weight can fluctuate that much in my monthly cyle.
Hot feet can be serious. I have one hot foot and one cold one. The hot one is from a irritation to a sympathetic nerve comming out of my lumbar spine. The cold one is Raynaud's Symdrome

5 pounds in 6 months??? Oh come on! Like some one said I did that in a month when I had a period since ihad my hysterectomy of course I dont have that problem. I am still chubby but it doesnt fluctuate(sp?) anymore.
Sounds like the doctor my husband went to because he had hurt his back.. She was concerned because his blood pressure was high and it could lead to Erectile Dysfunction!?!?
Hello he was 25 at the time.. His back was hurting so bad that he couldnt sit, stand or dress himself. He was not worried about certain things working right then. When you are in pain its normal for your BP to be a little high.
Sometimes I wonder what some of these doctors are really thinking or if they are thinking at all!

When you hit a certain age, the weight just pours on...and then do you think it will go away again...I don't think so...

Though I'm not sure if the hot feet come with the same age related symtoms...hhmmm...I'd ask again or see a podiatrist...

You were already told that you had to change your diet because of your high cholesterol. Don't forget about that. I'm sorry, I'm not feeling sorry for you. You are obviously not sticking to your diet. I'm a lousy friend.

LOL... let's face it, we all gain a lil weight as we get older. I was freaking anorexic when I was in my 20s. Hell, I wish I had THAT to worry about these days. Now I'd love to lose 25 lbs.

no matter what my symptoms are the doctor says losing a few pounds would help. I need to come up with something he can't say that about

Yeh, we're all fat...even skinny people are fat. We're supposed to have fat on us. lol!
Well maybe not as much as some of us have. But seriously, being fat is not the only reason people get sick or aren't feeling normal.

I can't stand doctors who wave all the symptoms and worries away with a simple, "You need to lose weight and you'll be all better"

Life isn't that simple. But it sure makes their jobs much simpler now, doesn't it?

Maybe doctors don't even need to go to medical school anymore. They can just tell all their patients.....you're fat, lose weight and you'll be just fine......now pay me my $300 for this visit, and be on your way.

bleh!
