Ooh, one of my fav meals was bangers and mash when I lived in London, England - cheap and filling. Nice that Bil is slowing down and stopping for you to take those road side photos, although I have to say that some of your drive by's have been excellent. Nice, cute photo of Andrew. Hello to TM n all.
Never tried Bangers and Mash. But we love to travel to Durango. At one time we were in negotiations for a house and shop in Silverton. To me it would be the perfect place to live. You have a 6 month window to work with the tourists and then you are snowed in for the other 6 months. Hope your adventures continue to be fun and yeah for BIL being a good guy about stopping. Well that is nice that he pulls over. I bet you liked that. I think that is nice you try new things. I always wanted to know what Bangers and Mash tasted like.
Oh I love bangers and mash , it is also a well known dish in Britain . Wonderful photos . I am glad you all are having a good trip ! Thanks for sharing ! Have a good day !
Gotta admit your dish doesn't look too tasty to me. Glad looks were deceiving!

When I travel I always try to have a new dish I've never tasted before. This trip was no different. We dined at an local Irish Pub in Durango Colorado.

No one seemed impressed with the vision of my Bangers and Mash. It was pretty good. I made everyone try it. BIL Carl, Andrew, Robbie and Hubby just had plain ole burgers with curly fries.

Once again the scenery changed as we climb altitudes we've never experienced before. After a little shopping, visiting a train museum and lunch we headed to Silverton Colorado...even higher in the mountains.
BIL Carl is much more fun to travel with...if he just sees me look at something, he pulls over for me to take a picture. It certainly is a pleasure.

Lovely scenery and nice of Bil to pull over for you so you can share with us! :)
You have to try the shepherd's pie when at an Irish pub sometime. Yummy! Though, bangers and mash are good too! :)
