Prince Rogers Nelson, to use his real name, had actually been a much better and prolific songwriter than he was as a singer.
He apparently doesn't realize that he has been irrelevant for a long time now. His interest in cashing in on current civil unrest is not entirely unexpected.

If he is set on a comeback, he needs a total makeover- lose the male/female look, get in touch with his MALE side (if he has one) and quit singing like a girl. Start hanging out with Ted Nugent and learn some Country songs, for a start. LOL
