hmmm, not really that many revelations, but plenty of here and now living. we're in a heat wave, so maybe my brain is just melting... i liked to read about your sunday reflections, if nothing else, these gave me something to think about.

question: how do you get your images that big? i want that too :)

this is so beautiful...and wonderful reminder to be open and present to as those moments get presented to you. Lovely.

Beautiful post, it sounds as though there's been a lot of thought chez vous this weekend. Here, I'm too tired to make much sense of a busy weekend, but I'm sure reflection will create revelation as the week goes on and I have a chance to digest all of the new information from my weekend.

It´s funny when you say something out loud and it becomes true.

I do some of my best thinking trough my mouth.

Still pondering over writing is the new praying and the words house, home and shelter for the soul.

Super photo, love it. Sounds like your weekend was so 'useful', as well as wonderful.

Here...well I learnt that when you put people near the beginning of their lives with someone very near the end of their life your heart will break so much you can hear it. Because they love each other and learn so much from each other, but time is very short now.

Also I learnt that I have to tackle the 'God' issue, for myself, with MrSpud and the boys once and for all. I can't carry on wading through the murky shallows anymore. I will blog on that later.

And that our children see things so much more clearly than we do. I wish I could borrow their wise eyes for a bit, so I could see the wood for the trees.

Finally, competitive parenting is alive and well in me when I thought I didn't posses it. My child rocks. The end ;-)

i like what you learned and i'm sorry to hear of your friend's loss - it's so devastating at any age to lose a parent.

what i learned - that a cold snap can make one giddy, that time with family is beautiful, that i can make a decent meatloaf and sometimes just watching the world go by is a good thing.

I love this post. Don't you just love when out of no where things become clear - like someone hit a big focus button in the middle of your day, weekend, week and all of a sudden you are able to REALLY see? I revel in these kinds of epiphanies....I have discovered that, since writing is the new praying, my blog has gifted me with MANY epiphanies this year.

(p.s. DANG the NIKON rocks the color! great photo).
