I have been looking for Jericho, Washington No. 8. I do not expect to find it. My aunt Doris Budzine, told me it was sold to Amish for a chicken house. I spent my whole 9 years of education there, and have happy memories of that time. I am Barbara Budzine Fenkner.

About 1996 this school was moved from its original location nearby to the town of Rowley, and restored. In 2006 it was again relocated, this time to the Heartland Acres Agribition Center on the west side of Independence, where these photographs were taken. The school was built in 1869.
