Hi Ken,

What a coincidence! I bought one of these from Weird Stuff Warehouse in Sunnyvale, California awhile ago.

I was thinking about doing almost the exact same thing that you have done. Your idea is better because I was going to use a wired controller and you have used a wireless infrared controller.

Awesome job!

Thanks for posting.

Hi: I bought one of these signs on ebay just because I like things with leds. You are likely familiar with the board which contains two identical power supplies but also has a small odd IC and related components which I assume comprises the logic part. Is there a component I can remove or cut to defeat the either / or logic circuit in order to have both sides illuminate at the same time? It would make a great gift for my nephew's birthday. Thanks in advance for any suggestions you may have.

First I just wanted to say THANK YOU for posting this online.. I have a walk sign and was scared to do anything with it because I was trying to find a schematic online before doing so.

In reference to Jake, my system is set up to illuminate both signs at once..

My suggestion is to connect the hand sign wire and the walk sign wire to relays as shown in the picture and video and then use the arduino or another circuit to turn on both relays at the same time.
