Why do Congress Critters have access to AAFES facilities? I thought that was one of my benefits as a military retiree.

Good point. I was just getting ready to bring this up myself. AAFES CONUS (Continental US) is only available to active duty service members, National Guard and Reserves, and military retirees. As a DA Civilian, I am not authorized to utilize AAFES or DECA (Commissary) facilities. This should be investigated.

Ah the Real Perks of Congress. Enjoying tax-free booze at the taxpayers expense while being flown from one end of the country to the other. Outrage from her California constituants in 3...2...1... (crickets)

Easy. Military personnel on the flight are responsible for the restocking. They use AAFES. Note that at least one of those receipts was from Ramstein AFB...
