If I hear one more person say we have to support gay marriage, support abortion, support amnesty, and so on, I'm going to puke.

If we did all that, we'd be Democrats.

That doesn't simply won't work. Why vote for a pale imitation of a Democrat, when you can vote for the real thing.

IMHO, it is obvious
- we need to get out the vote. Copy the Democrat model. Bus them, offer them gift cards to sign their name to a straight Republican absentee ballot...
-at the ward level, court the black and Hispanic vote. Preach the gospel of wealth.
-if we have to, form a new Republican party based on Tea Party values. Invite the sane Libertarians and the reasonable social issues crowd. Tell the establishment to pound sand.

Romney was a nice guy, he would have been a decent president. But for your life, can you really tell me what he was for? What was his plan? Did he ever attempt to court the Republican base?
