A protection racket is an extortion scheme whereby a criminal group or individual coerces a victim (usually a business) to pay money, supposedly for protection services against violence, property damage and government REGULATIONS!

What really bugs me is the law is written so sloppy that Gibson could have the *entire* guitar manufactured in India, bring it over to the U.S., put a coat of wax on it, and wind up in violation of the Lacey act (according to the ongoing suit).
