Actually, I'm an American who goes to London for my dentistry. The quality is better and it's much, much cheaper. The cliche about Brits having bad teeth is about 30 years outdated.

That is very hard to believe that an American would choose to go to London for dental work??! I have been a dentist for 30 years and have never heard of such a thing. To each its own I guess.

"Anonymous #1" is full of crap.

"How 3,000 patients signed up for a place at the secret dentist's surgery".

There's literally no way for a normal British citizen to get prioritized dental care without big bucks.

Do a search for:

hundreds queue dentist UK

and enjoy!

I was born in London and lived there until the age of 30. I then moved to Canada until recently. Now, a full American citizen at the age of 58, I can honestly say that I have experienced the supposed "socialist" healthcare systems of the UK and Canada, as well as the "free market" system in America. Without any doubt or bias, I can tell you that the American system by far has the lowest overall quality and the longest wait times of any system I have experienced.

You can trust this to be true because I - an anonymous comment - say so.

Nice try, #1.

Wow - I really believed the comment above mine. Although it was anonymous, it carried a realism that was undeniable and in no way resembled the way I write things.
