I simply do not have the energy to fight the left anymore. I came to the US in 1969 from Ukraine to escape socialism. Now, I think I will have to leave the US to escape it again!

It's too depressing to be depressed. This is still a great country, with a long, proud, rich history. And there are still many of us...millions of us...who care about serious issues and serious candidates for elected office. As the rabbis say, "Sometimes G-d says 'no'." Okay...so let's start planning for 2014 and 2016. Let's keep educating friends, family and co-workers. We weren't all born conservatives...we had to develop an understanding of economics, global politics, and the history of national conflicts. Others will learn too. Keep smiling!

if we expect the russians to once again throw off their tyrant putin and the chinese to cast off their dictators and the iranians to rise up and win the next time then we have no eight to cry over an electoral loss to obama.

we are certainly headed for worse times with less liberty and less of the prosperity only liberty creates.

ok.

so we gotta roll up our sleeves and work harder.

defeatism won't help.

neither will merely attacking the left as idiots.

we need to deprogram them by showing them the light.

the coming catastrophes - vis a vis iran and china and the eu and israel and sequestration and obamacare - will provide many teaching moments.

sigh.

Go to Canada.

I'm from Canada and the first time in my life I think my country may be more free than the US.

Our prime minister is a small l libertarian. The true north strong and free.

I used to build log homes, sometimes
we'd make a mistake and have to
disassemble a day or more's work to
go back to fix the problem, it is always depressing to face the truth
but you have to do it and it's better
to forgive yourself so that you turn
it into a learning scenario rather than a bitch fest. Man up and let
the reconstruction begin.

Yeah .... I wonder about all the time I spend READING blogs, books, and listening to news, when dopes who never even heard the word "Benghazi" can swoop in and take the election. But . . . the WH Occupier got 6 million fewer votes this time around.

You who write what I read got through to 6 million. Pathetic that there are still so many more, but don't sneeze at the 6 million. Six million kudos to you.

My dad went from the blistering heat of the Mojave desert and continued the fight through the frozen forests of the Ardennes.

Take two weeks, take a month.. but keep your head down as we step over you with our blood soaked boots.

The G.O.P. has lost two presidential elections in a row because it forced its candidate to run so far to the loony right to get through the primaries, dominated by its ultraconservative base, that he could not get close enough back to the center to carry the national election.
