It's the twenty-first century. Couldn't they simply use a video conference? Too much chance of a leak or hacking, perhaps? It could be something more basic than we suspect. Here in Taiwan, meetings are seldom called because they have something important to discuss. More often, people call meetings to show that they're important enough to call meetings. I'm taking a wait-and-see approach. If "Hsi-le-ri," as she's called over here, is calling a meeting just to show everyone that she's important enough to call a meeting, this could be a bid to run against Obama in 2012.
