all this talk is irrelevant, really. neil isn´t a good guitarist, he´s fuckin´ brilliant. i love his playing - acoustic and electric. neil, long may you run..

His "one-note solos" really are not "one note". They are many notes, - quarter notes, half notes, sixteenths, triplets, etc. They are attacked differently and sustained differently. Some are bent, some are pull-offs, some are hammer ons, some are harmonics. The notes plow out of the Deluxe and interplay with those coming out of the Magnatone. They meld into a complex stew. To say they are one-note solos is missing the point entirely.
